Alicia Stettler, LCSW, CYT - Yoga, Therapy, and Embodied Healing
I’m Alicia Stettler, a forever-evolving human of the world, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Yoga Teacher, and guide for those seeking deeper healing, health, and happiness.
With over a decade in mental health, I’ve learned that true wellness is more than symptom management- it’s a journey inward, a return to wholeness. My approach blends evidence-based clinical practices with the wisdom of yogic philosophy to support both personal and collective transformation.
I have created a framework for lasting healing, health, and happiness called the Circle of Self. The Circle is a holistic approach to life by (re)connecting to seven elements:
Movement ~ Stillness ~ Nature ~ Community ~ Spirit ~ Nourishment ~ Love
Each of these elements represents an essential factor of being human, and together, they create an ever-evolving picture of wholeness. And, importantly, the Circle of Self is a framework for us ALL. We must nurture our own Circle in order to share the Circle of Self with others.

Podcasts
Alicia is co-host of the Revolutionary Social Work Podcast, a show dedicated to self-reflection and reimagining how we care for ourselves, each other, and the world.
Yoga Therapy
I specialize in healing anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain through Yoga Therapy sessions that combine nervous system regulation, somatic healing, and mindful inquiry. Each session is rooted in The Circle of Self- a holistic framework I created that supports transformation through seven essential elements: Movement, Stillness, Nourishment, Nature, Love, Spirit, and Community.
Clinical Supervision
I offer clinical supervision for social workers working toward licensure. Rooted in Revolutionary Social Work values and the Circle of Self, my approach emphasizes self-reflection, holistic wellness, critical thinking, and alignment between personal values and professional practice. To guide others, we must first revolutionize ourselves.
Revolutionary Social Work Podcast
As co-host of the Revolutionary Social Work Podcast, I help create a space for critical reflection, transformative dialogue, and embodied practice. We explore how personal transformation drives social change, and I bring my lived experience as a practicing therapist to ground our conversations in the realities of the work.
Every podcast is rooted in our values:
Kinning ~ Challenge the Status Quo ~ Non-Partisan Commitment ~ Relational Grounding ~ Indigenous and African-Centered Wisdoms ~ Transformative Reflection ~ (Re)Connection ~ Love as Praxis ~ Unity ~ Social Work Beyond the Profession
Writing – The Circle of Self
I’m the author of the forthcoming book The Circle of Self: A Path to Healing, Health, and Happiness- a holistic guide for practitioners and self-help seekers that integrates clinical insight, yogic philosophy, and revolutionary values.
Human First
I’m also a mother, a partner, and someone deeply committed to practicing love, peace, and gratitude every day. I cherish time with my family, hiking, ocean swims, beach days, and my daily yoga practice, which grounds and inspires my work. I believe healing is not just personal…it’s a revolutionary act.

Nourishment is often thought of as just the food we eat, but it’s so much more. It’s about how we feed every part of ourselves— our mind, body, and soul.
