Mind-Body Therapy
Greetings! I’m Alicia Stettler- if you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, depression, or feeling disconnected from yourself, you're not alone. Healing is possible, and you don't have to navigate it on your own.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Yoga Teacher, and Revolutionary Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping people move beyond surviving toward living with greater health, resilience, and purpose. While evidence-based psychotherapy is the foundation of my work, I believe lasting healing involves more than managing symptoms. It comes from understanding ourselves more deeply, reconnecting with our bodies, nurturing our relationships, and creating meaningful, sustainable change.
My approach is integrative and holistic, blending evidence-based psychotherapy with Pain Reprocessing Therapy, somatic approaches, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, breathwork, and the wisdom of yogic philosophy. Every person is unique, so together we'll develop an approach that meets your individual needs, strengths, and goals.
Through years of clinical practice, teaching, and personal exploration, I developed The Circle of Self…a framework for lasting healing, health, and happiness rooted in reconnecting with seven essential elements of being human:
Movement • Stillness • Nature • Community • Spirit • Nourishment • Love
These elements work together to create an ever-evolving picture of well-being. Rather than striving for perfection, The Circle of Self offers a compassionate way to understand where you are, recognize what may be missing, and cultivate greater balance over time.
Whether you're seeking relief from anxiety or chronic pain, healing from trauma, navigating a major life transition, or simply longing to feel more like yourself again, my hope is that our work together helps you reconnect with your innate capacity for healing and build a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and aligned with who you are.

Mind-Body Therapy
You’ve tried to manage the symptoms, but something still feels stuck. Whether it’s chronic pain or anxiety, your body may be holding stress that hasn’t fully resolved. I support healing by working with the nervous system so you can feel calmer & more at ease in your body. My approach blends mind-body practices with Pain Reprocessing Therapy & may include gentle movement, breathwork & guided awareness to release tension and restore a sense of safety. This work is grounded in a holistic framework I developed, integrating movement, stillness, nourishment, nature, love, spirit, and community. Schedule your first appointment below
Clinical Supervision
I offer clinical supervision for social workers working toward licensure in HI & AK. Rooted in Revolutionary Social Work values and the Circle of Self, my approach emphasizes self-reflection, holistic wellness, critical thinking, and alignment between personal values and professional practice. To guide others, we must first revolutionize ourselves.
Revolutionary Social Work Podcast
As co-host of the Revolutionary Social Work Podcast, I help create a space for critical reflection, transformative dialogue, and embodied practice. We explore how personal transformation drives social change, and I bring my lived experience as a practicing therapist to ground our conversations in the realities of the work.
Every podcast is rooted in our values:
Kinning ~ Challenge the Status Quo ~ Non-Partisan Commitment ~ Relational Grounding ~ Indigenous and African-Centered Wisdoms ~ Transformative Reflection ~ (Re)Connection ~ Love as Praxis ~ Unity ~ Social Work Beyond the Profession
The Circle of Self Planner
I’m the creator of The Circle of Self, a forthcoming planner, journal, and workbook designed to support healing, holistic health, and intentional living. This guided companion will walk with you month by month, week by week, and day by day as you integrate the Circle of Self into your everyday life. While it’s in the works, you’re invited to download my free workbook to explore your Circle of Self today.
Human First
I’m also a mother, a partner, and someone deeply committed to practicing love, peace, and gratitude every day. I cherish time with my family, hiking, ocean swims, beach days, and my daily yoga practice, which grounds and inspires my work. I believe healing is not just personal…it’s a revolutionary act.

Make Movement Your Medicine (Part 2 of 8)
I open my eyes most mornings with a weight in my chest — a hum of anxiety before the day even begins. For years, I tried to fight it with thoughts: organizing my day, reframing the worry, telling myself to calm down.

Discover the Circle of Self — Rethinking Mental Health and Healing (Part 1 of 8)
When I began my journey as a social worker over a decade ago, I was determined to follow a formula for success: get my Master’s in Social Work, earn my LCSW, become a Clinical Therapist, master the DSM-5, and use diagnoses as my power tool to cure mental illness.

What Are You Feeding Your Soul? (Part 4 of 8)
Nourishment is often thought of as just the food we eat, but it’s so much more. It’s about how we feed every part of ourselves— our mind, body, and soul.
